Fun
Alright I'm a little late posting to this, I actually played with some of the links quite a few weeks ago. Photo editing and play is a lot of fun, just really need to practice more with them. I did something in Wordle, I hope this link works:

Online Productivity
Great, got it...Google is the bomb. Let's face it if you need to do anything just use Google. On the work related side I can see where Google docs will come in handy when a committee or sub-committee is working on updating or creating a document.
Social Networking/Tags
Ok I can see the advantage to Delicious and to any other related animal. I do like the idea of being able to access your most popular sites from anywhere. Will I use it? Most likely not. Too much information in too many places.

Social Networking
Enough said....I have a My Space account, never look at it. I'm certainly not going to create more accounts with different social networking providers. Keeping up with what I have is straining the brain as it is.
Gaming
What can I say about gaming, addictive! Personally, I prefer to go to the races, loose my money but have a great time doing it. I do like to play word games and there are so many sites with free games. Who hasn't played Elf Bowling at Christmas time.

Wiki's
Now this could be very useful. What a great way for committee members to have a planning session. This would also be a great way for members of a group to edit a document. I set up a wiki for an activity that our staff is having, it was pretty easy and I hope everyone will utilize it. Once again the draw back is that another username and password to keep up with.

Photo Sharing
There are so many photo sharing sites, I have used snapfish before and picasa. Flickr seemed to be relatively easy to use. I did enjoy The Commons and the photo I found of "Byrd Field" (and yes for those of us who grew up in the east end it will always be Byrd Field) brought back a lot of memories. I know I'm dating myself, but I can remember when it looked just like this.

Well week 3 has come and gone and I did manage to complete my assignment on RSS feeds. I did not find this particularly difficult, but I have my doubts as to the relevancy of RSS to myself and my work. I find bookmarks and favorites (whichever you choose to call it) just as convenient, also I use my e-mail for notification from some of my favorite sites. I feel sure that many people enjoy blogging, but I find that like many things associated with a computer it is a time consumer.
