Wiki's
Now this could be very useful. What a great way for committee members to have a planning session. This would also be a great way for members of a group to edit a document. I set up a wiki for an activity that our staff is having, it was pretty easy and I hope everyone will utilize it. Once again the draw back is that another username and password to keep up with.

Photo Sharing
There are so many photo sharing sites, I have used snapfish before and picasa. Flickr seemed to be relatively easy to use. I did enjoy The Commons and the photo I found of "Byrd Field" (and yes for those of us who grew up in the east end it will always be Byrd Field) brought back a lot of memories. I know I'm dating myself, but I can remember when it looked just like this.

Well week 3 has come and gone and I did manage to complete my assignment on RSS feeds. I did not find this particularly difficult, but I have my doubts as to the relevancy of RSS to myself and my work. I find bookmarks and favorites (whichever you choose to call it) just as convenient, also I use my e-mail for notification from some of my favorite sites. I feel sure that many people enjoy blogging, but I find that like many things associated with a computer it is a time consumer.
